Nemesis Reborn

Alton Towers, Staffordshire, United Kingdom

Overview

Operating

Nemesis Reborn (previously known as Nemesis) opened in 1994 and was one of B&M's first rides outside of the United States. The ride which was designed by Werner Stengel and overseen by John Wardley sits into the ground due to height restrictions at the park.

In 2022 the ride closed for the following season for a major refurbishment with most of the track being replaced and reopened in 2024 under its new name. Along with the track replacement, the theming in the area underwent a significant overhaul deepening the storyline involving a fictional organisation (The Phalanx) trying to control the Nemesis creature.
