Excitement is mounting at Cedar Point as the highly anticipated Siren’s Curse tilt roller coaster has it's key feature installed. In a major construction milestone, crews successfully hoisted the ride’s defining feature—a colossal 45-ton, 61-foot-long tilt track—into its final position. This nerve-wracking element teeters riders at a sheer 90-degree vertical incline before plunging them into a labyrinth of 2,966 feet of dynamic twists, drops, and high-speed maneuvers.
Siren’s Curse isn’t just another roller coaster—it’s a groundbreaking addition to the amusement park’s legendary collection. Boasting the titles of North America’s tallest, fastest, and longest tilt coaster, it seamlessly blends cutting-edge engineering with a compelling narrative. Drawing inspiration from the haunting mythology of the Lake Erie siren, the ride immerses thrill-seekers in a captivating tale of intrigue and peril. An intricate combination of synchronized on-board audio, eerie special effects, and pulsating LED lighting ensures an atmospheric, pulse-pounding experience from start to finish.
The ride is set to make its grand debut in early summer.
