Kingda Ka: Demolition ends iconic era

Kingda Ka, the worlds tallest roller coaster has been destroyed in a series of controlled explosions ending it's iconic reign.
Fan's were left disappointed in November 2024 when it was announced the ride would not open again with no notice for guests to experience the ride one last time.
Rumours had been circulating for weeks on when the 456 foot coaster would be taken down with local officials warning residents to be aware of a series of rapid explosions. The demolition button was pressed early on the morning of Friday 28th February 2025.
Footage has been released showing a series of controlled explosions and the rides structure falling to the ground.

Six Flags are yet to announce a replacement for the ride.
