Holiday Park to become Plopsaland Deutschland

Tuesday 1 April 2025 News

Big changes are on the horizon for Germany’s Holiday Park, as it prepares to rebrand as Plopsaland Deutschland in June 2025. This major shift is part of a €100 million investment aimed at revitalising the park with fresh attractions, immersive themed areas, and popular characters..

Holiday Park has been under the ownership of Plopsa, the theme park branch of Studio 100, since 2010. Despite this long-standing connection, the park has retained its original name - until now. The rebranding aligns it with Plopsa’s other properties, bringing a more unified identity to the group.

The first major addition of the season arrives in April 2025 with the unveiling of the Blinky Bill Zone. This new area, themed around the Australian koala character, will introduce three family-friendly rides, expanding entertainment options for younger visitors.

Later in the summer, a new indoor Smurfs-themed attraction will open, accompanied by seasonal festivals celebrating characters from the Plopsa universe. In autumn 2025, a family coaster from Gerstlauer - based on the animated film “100% Wolf”—will make its debut, adding another exciting ride to the lineup.

One of the most anticipated additions is an extreme spinning coaster from Mack Rides, inspired by the world-renowned Tomorrowland festival. This high-thrill attraction is expected to mirror the success of The Ride to Happiness, a similar coaster launched at Plopsaland De Panne in 2021.

With these upcoming transformations, Plopsaland Deutschland is set to redefine the visitor experience, offering fresh adventures and an enhanced atmosphere for thrill-seekers and families alike.
