First look at Monsters Inc coaster concept

Disney and its team of Imagineers have revealed a concept rendering for it's exciting new Monsters, Inc. themed roller coaster, bringing the beloved world of Monstropolis to life in a thrilling new way.
The ride is inspired by one of the most memorable sequences from the 2001 Pixar classic—the high-speed chase through the vast door vault. In the film, Mike and Sulley leap between thousands of hanging doors as they try to escape Randall and return Boo to her home. This same exhilarating concept now serves as the foundation for what promises to be one of Disney's most immersive coaster experiences yet.
In a concept shared on Instagram, riders will board their coaster vehicles inside a loading station resembling the Monsters, Inc. factory. Instead of a traditional exit out of the station, the ride will feature a vertical lift system, where guests are slowly raised before rotating to face forward. This unique motion mimics the sensation of being transported through the factory’s elaborate door-moving system.
Once the coaster launches, guests will find themselves soaring and weaving through an elaborate track that simulates the unpredictable twists and turns of the film’s door chase. Early renderings suggest that suspended ride vehicles may be in use, giving riders the feeling of floating through the air as they zip past doors, dodge obstacles, and experience sudden drops and sharp turns.
This Monsters, Inc. coaster is set to become a major addition to Disney’s lineup of attractions and could play a key role in the company’s rumored plans to expand Monstropolis as a dedicated themed area. While no official opening date has been announced, anticipation is already building for what is sure to be a must-ride experience for Disney and Pixar fans alike.
