Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool, United Kingdom, has officially announced plans for an exciting new addition to the park - a towering 136-foot (41-meter) Gyro Swing ride set to open in 2026.

This colossal thrill ride will offer guests an intense, high-adrenaline experience as they soar through the sky, spinning and swinging in massive arcs. The ride is expected to feature a gondola that rotates while swinging back and forth, creating a weightless sensation at its highest points.

Speculation about the new attraction has been circulating for nearly a year, with industry insiders and amusement park enthusiasts predicting the arrival of such a ride. While Pleasure Beach Resort has yet to confirm the manufacturer, Intamin is widely believed to be behind the project. Intamin has previously developed several Gyro Swing models, including popular installations at other major theme parks worldwide.

The new ride is expected to be one of the tallest and most thrilling attractions at Pleasure Beach Resort, adding to the park’s reputation for offering extreme rides. It will likely appeal to adrenaline seekers and complement other high-thrill experiences at the park.
