Alton Towers has officially announced that its brand-new attraction for 2025 will be called Toxicator. As anticipated, the ride will be a Top Spin-style flat ride, promising high-energy thrills and intense inversions. The ride’s theme appears to revolve around a hazardous, toxic environment, as riders will experience moments of being suspended upside-down over what is described as a "bubbling pool of highly toxic alien acid". This unique thematic element is expected to heighten the sense of danger and excitement, immersing thrill-seekers in a perilous, high-stakes adventure.

The new attraction will be situated within the Forbidden Valley, a section of the park already known for its dramatic landscapes and sci-fi military themes. With strong ties to the Phalanx group, a fictional organization that plays a central role in the park’s existing Nemesis storyline, Toxicator seamlessly integrates into the evolving lore of Alton Towers. The Phalanx, known for its efforts to contain the formidable Nemesis creature, will likely be involved in the narrative of Toxicator.

As the park gears up for the 2025 season, more details about Toxicator’s storyline, ride mechanics, and opening date are expected to be revealed.
